Do you need help figuring out how to use some of your rulers? Need help figuring out a design for a project? Looking for advice and support? You picked up some rulers and don’t know what to do with them?  Then this session is for you. John Kubiniec will be here to offer advice and coaching using rulers on your domestic sewing machines.   Bring a project you want to work on! When you register for the class you will receive a free pattern for quick and easy placemats and table runner that you can stitch up before class and quilt during class.It is assumed that you have taken a basic domestic ruler work class and know how to attach the foot to your machine and how to use your rulers.

Sewing Machine with Ruler Foot

Project to work on – or 2-3 Quilt Sandwiches (18×18) with Thread that works with your project

Ruler

Marking tools to be able to mark your fabric  – the marking tools should not leave permanent marks (chalk-o-liner, ceramic pencil, Air erase pen, water erase pen)

Scissors

Seam Ripper

Paper and Pencil to sketch/draw designs (Graph Paper is great)

 

 

 To Register

Print out the Class Registration Form,  complete it. Either drop it off or mail it.  Please remember, checks must be made payable directly to the instructors.  (Note:  You are not completely registered for the class until payment to the instructor has been received.)

Please… Sign up for classes at least 2 weeks in advance.

We need time to prepare kits & samples so you will be able to enjoy your class. If there is insufficient interest in a class, you will be notified of cancellation one week prior to the class. So don’t wait till the last minute to sign up for the classes you are interested in!
